All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.
Isaiah 54:13

We believe that children learn through play and exploration of their environment.  Teachers provide a learning environment in which children explore toys and materials within several activity areas. Materials in these areas are developmentally appropriate and challenge children to achieve new skills and abilities.  Free play is a vital aspect of the children's day.  During free play, teachers engage with children by asking thought-provoking questions, encouraging exploration of materials, and modeling use of materials.  Planned daily activities supplement the learning that occurs through free play. These theme-based activities consist of a play-based, exploratory approach to learning.  Lesson plans are provided for parents and posted within the classroom.  An additional curriculum component called "Handwriting Without Tears" is incorporated.  Please see the video below to learn more about this exciting program.
